Hi, I'm Coach T. I grew up in a household where money was a source of stress, not security. Nobody taught me about budgeting, investing, or building wealth — and when I graduated college with $34,000 in student loan debt and a starting salary that barely covered rent, I felt completely lost.
For years I did what most people do: ignored the problem, made minimum payments, and hoped things would somehow get better. They didn't — until I decided to get serious. I spent two years obsessively learning everything I could about personal finance. I paid off all my debt in 26 months. I built my first investment portfolio at 27. By 30, I had a six-month emergency fund, a growing retirement account, and — for the first time in my life — a genuine sense of financial peace.
That transformation changed everything for me. I became a certified financial coach because I knew there were thousands of people just like me: smart, hardworking, and completely underserved by the financial industry. I built The Financial Win to be the resource I wish I'd had — practical, judgment-free, and built for real life.
When I'm not coaching, you'll find me hiking with my dog Biscuit, experimenting with new recipes, or deep in a good book. I'm based in Atlanta, GA, and work with clients across the country.
